Get to know Kelly.

The focus behind the follow-through.

During hunting season, you might find Kelly in a tree stand before dawn, watching the forest come alive—and waiting. She could sit there for hours without seeing a deer, but that’s what success requires: patience, focus, and the willingness to stick it out even when results aren’t guaranteed.

Being outdoors may be how she disconnects, but Kelly’s more than 20 years of experience working with complex litigation shows that you can never really take the hunt out of the hunter. She brings that same patience to digging through endless documents, the persistence to following every lead, and the dedication to managing cases, all to ensure no detail gets overlooked.

She started as a legal assistant at a small Angola firm, learning through hands-on experience and discovering her talent for organizing complex information and keeping cases moving forward. But her longest professional relationship spans more than two decades working alongside Mullins McDonnell partner Mike Sullivan. When Mike asked her to join the firm, it reflected years of earned trust through consistent performance.

After working largely solo at other firms, Kelly appreciates the collaborative environment at Mullins McDonnell. “It’s like a family here,” she says, one built on mutual respect, shared commitment, and proactive support.

When she’s not in the office, Kelly hunts, fishes, and hikes with her husband of nearly 25 years, their teenage son, and their yellow lab, Dixie. Whether she’s waiting patiently for the right shot in the field or methodically reviewing case files for the breakthrough detail in the office, Kelly brings the same focused persistence to everything she does.
